you deserve the royal treatment

Hello everyone! How's everyone's summer going so far? I hope it's fantastic! Anywhoo, it's time for another Made Especially for You challenge! This week we are creating easel cards! I'm not sure why I don't do them more often, they're so fun!  If you want to join in, but don't know how to make easel cards, check out this tutorial HERE from SplitcoastStampers! Again, so easy and fun!
The crown and presents are from Celebrations cartridge. This cartridge is an oldie, but a goodie!
Above: Here's the card flat/closed.
Below: Viola! You open it!
The sentiment is from The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Sayings. I inked around the pink pattern paper with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress ink.
I don't know about you, but I have so much bling that I don't use! I think it is because I bought the one that isn't self adhesive so it takes a little more work to use lol

Don't forget to show us your wonderful easel cards HERE for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to Paper Piecings by Nikki, courtesy of Paper Piecings by Nikki

Sweets for the Sweet Tin project

Hello everybody! Over at Joy's Life DT, we are using these cool tins that Joy carries! They can hold candy, crafty supplies, and even mementos! When I saw this sentiment, I knew I wanted to do a 3D project with it and this was the PERFECT time!
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge
I actually put the mat on zots to give it some dimension.
"To:" and "From:" are from Tag You're It Set One and the hearts are from Lots of Puns set.
A tin loaded with candy! Yum!
The sentiment is from Halloween Puns stamp set.
Again,  the sentiment is from Halloween Puns stamp set. This set is so versatile and can be used for projects all throughout the entire year, not just Halloween!

RECIPE for FUN BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Recipe for Fun Blog Hop!!

You should have arrived from Megan's blog, if not, make sure you start HERE. You don't want to miss a thing!
Throughout this hop you're going to see the team sharing recipes along with a yummy project.

I made Agua Fresca de Sandia aka Fresh Watermelon Water.
It's so delicious and perfect for this summer weather!

The sentiment is from Joy's Yummy Puns stamp set which is BACK IN STOCK!
The watermelons are from Stretch Your Imagination cartridgeI skipped cutting the "seeds" and just drew them in.
Here's a close up of the stamp =)
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge.
These are very easy to make, especially if you're planning on mass producing for company.
hehe this didn't last long ;)

Check out Joy's YUMMY PUNS set along with the other awesome sets HERE!!

To be honest with you, there's no "correct" way to make this yummy water. I would watch my mom make it and just tried it until I got it to taste how I wanted.

So, here's my recipe:
Take a piece of watermelon and cut part of it up into chunks.
[If you don't have a seedless watermelon, make sure to pick out the seeds]
Then put the chunks in the blender and add water.
Pour into a pitcher and dilute.
It shouldn't be much thicker than lemonade.
Add sugar to your liking.
If you have a sweet watermelon you don’t need any sugar.
*some people add a squeeze of lemon
Serve with ice for a nice, cold summer drink :-)

You're NEXT stop is Ashley over at Markland & Main
