Rock on!!

Hello everyone and welcome to another Krafty Girls challenge

This week's challenge is to create any paper craft that has a musical theme. I created a card that I plan on giving away to a friend for her birthday next month. You can never start too early, right? :)

This awesome rocker chick is from the Rock Princess cricut cartridge. I had forgotten how much I love, love, love my cricut.
Her rockin' face is from Peachy Keen's Laughy Taffy stamp set.

I'm not sure if you can tell, but I added glossy accents to her "bracelet" :)
The crinkle ribbon is Goblin Green from 3 Girl Jam's Spooky Bundle.
The twine is Honeydew from The Twinery.
The green faux stitching is from a Sakura Souffle Gelly Roll pen. These pens are amazing on black paper!

The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Rock On stamp set.
I blinged out her boots with Icicle or Crystal stickles. I mixed the bottles and couldn't remember which one I used. :(

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to join Krafty Girls

Have a fun, crafty day!

Feelin' Lucky?

Top o' the morning and welcome to another Krafty Girls challenge! Challenge #2 is Feelin' Lucky? - create a card, scrapbook layout, 3D object, or home decor project with a St. Partick's Day theme.
Here's my card:
I've been wanting to use this cute girl for quite some time already! She's from the Rock Princess cartridge. The shamrocks are from Paper Doll Dress Up.
I even added a little belt made out of twine. Her shoes are made out of stickles.
The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps The Charmed Life.
I pop-dotted her for some dimension.
The scalloped border is actually a border from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I duplicated it and welded it with a rectangle in the center.
I almost forgot, her face is from the Laughy Taffy face assortment from Peachy Keen... I bought it a LONG time ago because I loved it, but had yet to used it lol

Dont forget to join here and thank you so much for looking!

Let's Face it Friday - Old School

Hi guys! Today I was crafting pretty much until noon and gave in and took the Let's Face it Friday challenge. The challenge was to create a project showcasing the year you graduated from high school.
I graduated in 2008 and that summer after graduation I met my husband ♥ .... at work (in a call center)! :)

Sooooo for the challege, I created a 12x12 layout of us "meeting & working" lol

Here is a close up of the dolls and their faces
Even the laptop is on overload with all the love in the air!!
Recipe for this layout:
Scalloped Rectangle - Sugar and Spice
"2008 & On" - Cuttin' up
Dolls, clothes, shoes, hair - Everyday Paper Dolls
Headset - Rock Princess
Laptop - Locker Talk

Stamps used:
Adorable face on the girl - Happy Lashes Face Assortment
Adorable face on the boy - Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment
Adorable face on the laptop - Happy New Year Face Assortment
"Where have you been all my life" and "Happily ever after" - My Creative Time "You Had Me At Chocolate"
"What would I do without you" and "I love you with all my heart" - My Creative Time "My Favorite Sayings"

I know this is turning into a humongotongus post, but yesterday my husband was trying to "learn" the cricut while I was asleep and ... it was a no bueno.. lol
this was his end result:
Poor little ol' Mickey never got finished lol
FINALLY!!! LOL HOPE ALL OF YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL MORNING/DAY/EVENING/NIGHT!!!!
