U+ ME = ♥

Hello, hello!
Over at Joy's Life Design Team blog we are sharing Joyful Hearts projects and since I don't have that stamp set, I decided to literally make joyful hearts :-)

The sentiment I chose is adorable! I actually have some Project Life tags planned using it.
The sentiment is from Sweet Popsicle Puns stamp set.
Here's a close up. :-) You can get yours HERE
I hope you can see some dimension in the picture below. I added foam tape to the sentiment mat and hearts.
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge.
The two hearts are from Simply Charmed cartridge.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a fun, crafty day!

I decided to go with a very clean and simple card.
The corn stalk is from the Just Because cartridge. I actually just cut the entire cut in the yellow pattern paper and used the G07 Copic marker to color in the "stalk."
The scalloped oval is from Twinkle Toes and the oval is from Art Philosophy
The sentiment is from Joy's Life It's All Fall Puns set! Isn't it a-maize-ing! ;)

Have a fun, crafty day!

Hi everyone! This week we'll be focusing on gifts galore over at Joy's Life DT! I have yet another gift card holder to show you. (If you missed the ones I made last week, you can catch them HERE). This gift card holder is so super simple to make! The gift card holder is from Cindy Loo cartridge. It's cut at 7 inches only because of the way it's on the cartridge.
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge. The sentiment is from Joy's Barnyard Puns
Here's the inside. I'm not giving a way a Red Robin rewards card LOL it's just for display ;) It's actually going to have a gift card for a home improvement store.

I actually put the mat on zots to give it some dimension.
"To:" and "From:" are from Tag You're It Set One and the hearts are from Lots of Puns set.
A tin loaded with candy! Yum!
The sentiment is from Halloween Puns stamp set.

RECIPE for FUN BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Recipe for Fun Blog Hop!!

You should have arrived from Megan's blog, if not, make sure you start HERE. You don't want to miss a thing!
Throughout this hop you're going to see the team sharing recipes along with a yummy project.

I made Agua Fresca de Sandia aka Fresh Watermelon Water.
It's so delicious and perfect for this summer weather!

The sentiment is from Joy's Yummy Puns stamp set which is BACK IN STOCK!
The watermelons are from Stretch Your Imagination cartridgeI skipped cutting the "seeds" and just drew them in.
Here's a close up of the stamp =)
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge.
These are very easy to make, especially if you're planning on mass producing for company.
hehe this didn't last long ;)

Check out Joy's YUMMY PUNS set along with the other awesome sets HERE!!

To be honest with you, there's no "correct" way to make this yummy water. I would watch my mom make it and just tried it until I got it to taste how I wanted.

So, here's my recipe:
Take a piece of watermelon and cut part of it up into chunks.
[If you don't have a seedless watermelon, make sure to pick out the seeds]
Then put the chunks in the blender and add water.
Pour into a pitcher and dilute.
It shouldn't be much thicker than lemonade.
Add sugar to your liking.
If you have a sweet watermelon you don’t need any sugar.
*some people add a squeeze of lemon
Serve with ice for a nice, cold summer drink :-)

You're the en-TIE-re package!

** Click HERE for my blogaversary giveaway **

Wow! It's already June, boy does time fly! We're a couple of weeks shy of Father's Day, but over at Made Especially for You we want to get your ideas flowing already with a Father's Day cards. The challenge this week is to create a Father's Day card using chipboard.

I hardly ever make "manly cards" and I have to say, this is as manly as I was able to get LOL I know, not the manliest.

The tie is from Summer Celebrations cartridge (page 40, button 19). I hid the striped layers using my Gypsy and instead of cutting the "knot" a different color, I cut it with the same paper.
The sentiment mat is from Twinkle Toes cartridge. I inked the edges of both cuts with Vintage Photo distress ink.
The face on the tie is from Peachy Keen's Boy Mates assortment.
The sentiment "You're the en-TIE-re Package!" is from Scrappy Moms The Charmed Life set.
The inside sentiment is actually made up of two Scrappy Moms stamp sets. "Specially for You" is from Sweet Somethings and "Dad" is from For the Boys
As for the chipboard, sometimes we gotta work with what we have and don't have... I didn't have any chipboard so I decided to use a cereal box as "chipboard". Worked great!
I cut the shadow of the tie with my "chipboard".
Also, this is the first card I made using an Action Wobble, but it was a little too big... so I trimmed it :-)
Here are the best two pictures I was able to take with the Action Wobble at work.

Oh, and all of the pattern paper is from Echo Park, I just ♥ their paper!

We can't wait to see what cards you create for Father's Day using chipboard! Join us here for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to  Priscilla Styles store

Spinner Card - Take One

Hello! The card I made today has a short story to it. A few months ago I was checking out Miss Glora's blog from Glora's Crafts.. she had this cuuuute spinner card with a doll from twinkle toes that had a sad and happy face.. so I showed my husband. Fast forward a couple months later, we're discussing something and I got a little upset, so he tells me I should make myself a card that has changeable faces like the card I had showed him. I laughed sooo hard, I couldn't believe he remembered lol!!! So I decided to create one :) You can see her card/inspiration here.

Let me warn you, the card didn't end up as it should have. Maybe because I started shifting the circle lol but it's "okay" for my first try at a spinner card lol

Happy Face :)
Sad face :(
Angry face >:-(
Hahaha this is how horrible the inside came out lol If I wouldn't have cut it, there would have been a BIG piece of paper sticking out.. bigger than this lol Note to self: Don't mess with the basics!!

Recipe for this card:

Doll - Twinkle Toes
Scallop border - Plantin Schoolbook
Spinner Card Base - Wild Card Cartridge
Sentiment - My Creative Time "Turn That Frown Upside Down"
Adorable Face- Peachy Keen "Wide Eyed Kids" Assortment
