Girl Power Treat box

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday!
Over at Joy's Life Design Team blog we are sharing projects using recycled/upcycled items. I have to admit, I'm a hoarder, I try to keep everything I can! You know the clam shells that the Cricut cartridges come in? Well, I cut most of mine out and have been stockpiling them lol

I created this easy to mass produce treat box using the Artiste cartridge, the Gypsy, and Joy's Life stamps
The cute, playful sentiment is from Joy's brand new stamp set, My Hero. As you can see, all of Joy's stamp sets are so versatile!
I hope you can see part of the clam shell in the photo.
Originally, this treat box is closed, but I used the Gypsy to layer over the a tag from the Artiste cartridge onto two parts of the box.
The pattern paper is from DCWV's All About Girls 12x12 paper stack.

 Have a fun, crafty day!

Some Bunny loves you + Hello Sunshine ♥

Hello, hello ♥
I'm very happy to be sharing two projects over at Joy's Life Design Team blog today. I have been feeling very crafty lately :) I made a cute little treat box for Easter goodies.
This sweet sentiment is from the Wild Life Puns stamp set. I'm telling ya, all of Joy's stamp sets are so versatile, you can use them anytime!
This box is from the Artiste cartridge
I couldn't find the bunny layer... to be honest, I don't even know if it exists lol so I improvised. Using my Gypsy, I copied the box twice and moved the box all the way off the mat, only leaving the bunnies. Once cut, I just trimmed the bottom and layered them onto the box.
All of the pattern paper is from Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic Kit. For the bunny's eye, I used black Enamel Accents. I faintly added blush on the bunny using blending chalk. For the glitter dots, I used Stickles in Lime Green.
I think I mentioned this before, but on Instagram we have been having quite a few Project Life card swaps recently. With Spring already here, I couldn't think of a better sentiment for these cards! Aren't they cuuuuute?!?  You can find me here on Instagram :)
The sentiment I used on the Project Life cards is from the Pun In the Sun stamp set.

In case you missed it, Joy's new release is available for pre-order! *Enabler alert: Pre-order My Hero, Punny Animals, and That Tastes Punny and SAVE on the price + free shipping + 5 action wobbles!

Joy's Life Mini Book Blog Hop

Hello, hello!
Welcome to Joy's Life Design Team's Mini Book Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from Maria's blog, Joyful Stamper, if not make sure to start at Joy's Life! This blog hop is one for the books :-)

I purchased the Artiste cartridge bundle back when it came out, but had never gotten around to using the chipboard that it came with and this was the perfect time! All of the album pages are cut from the Artiste cartridge
Page 1: The sentiment "A surprise is in store for you" is from Joy's Life Tag You're It Number One stamp set.

Page 2: The sentiment "U + Me = ♥" is from Joy's Sweet Popsicle Puns. I made the tag by using my corner chomper (1/4") on the bottom two corners and the corner chomper (scallop) on the top two corners. I inked around the tag with Tea Dye distress ink.
Page 3: The photo mat is 3.25 x 3.25 and will fit a 3x3 photo.

Page 4: The sentiment "You are a treasure" is from Joy's You're So Punny stamp set.
Page 5: The photo mat is 3.25 x 3.25 and will fit a 3x3 photo.

Page 6: The sentiment "A Whole Latte Love" is from Joy's You're So Punny stamp set.
Page 7: The photo mat is 3.25 x 3.25 and will fit a 3x3 photo.

Page 8: The photo mat is 3.25 x 3.25 and will fit a 3x3 photo.
Page 9: The sentiment "Hugs & Kisses" is from Joy's Wintery Puns stamp set.
I left the back simple :-)

All of the pattern paper is all from Echo Park's Yours Truly paper pad. I really didn't want to add die cuts/embellishments because I love the paper and did not want to cover it up.

Tags & Bags Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Joy's Life Design Team Tags & Bags Blog Hop!
You should have arrived from Maria's blog, Joyful Stamper. If you just happened to stop by, make sure you start over at Joy's blog, Joy's Life. You don't want to miss a thing!
For my project today, I decided to make a small bag and hope to mass produce these later as the holidays approach. I used two of Joy's stamp sets and I'm so excited to keep using them for the holidays coming up! They're so much fun! You must get your hands on these!

The bag and the mat that Hello Kitty is on are from the Artiste cartridge. I can't help but to use this cart every time! Hello Kitty is from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge
This sentiment is from the brand new stamp set Oh, Christmas Puns
This sentiment is from Joy's Wintery Puns - an oldie, but definitely a goodie.
The red holly pattern paper is from DCWV's Ultimate stack. The green polka dot pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye. The eyes and nose on Hello Kitty are from Peachy Keen's Super Simple Eyes and Noses. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. I'm thinking for the next bags I create I might ink up the ribbon with Tim Holtz Festive Berries Distress Inks.

Here are the two stamp sets I used. Don't you love them?!

SO... where is the blog candy?
The winner will receive one of the two holiday stamp sets - winner's choice :-)

Happy Holidays gift tags

Hello everyone! This is my last post for today I promise hehe
Over at Joy's Life Design Team blog, we were asked to create gift tags. I decided to get a head start on the holidays and made some small boxes to use as stocking stuffers and added these gift tags.

Yep, the box is from the Artiste cartridge. I can't tell you enough how much I love this cartridge! I really don't remember which cartridge the scallop circle is from. I decided to cut the scallop circles with the Cricut vs. a paper punch because I'm making quite a few of these.
Both of these sentiments are from Joy's Life Stamps, All Around Sentiments. Don't they stamp beautifully?
For the sentiment above, I actually got three different stamps and positioned them how I wanted. How convenient is this?
The bottom one comes as is, but if you're looking for a different center sentiment, check out Joy's video HERE. :-)
I was going for a semi-vintage look. Not too "cutesy" if that makes sense.

P.S.
Joy has a brand new stamp set that is available for PRE-ORDER!
Isn't this set fabulous?!

Trick or Treat

Hi everybody! Over at Joy's Life design team blog we will be showcasing 3D projects!
I was going through a few Halloween blog hops this past week and couldn't help but notice that the coffin from Artiste makes an amazing candy holder! I was inspired especially by one project, but I'm sorry to say I forgot the blog it was from.
I really had a lot of fun creating this project. Although I don't make 3D projects, I enjoy them a lot!
Spoiler Alert: TONS of pictures and details!

The coffin and spider web are from the CTMH Artiste cartridge. I just ♥ this cartridge to pieces! It really has everything for every occasion, theme, etc!

The sentiment is from Joy's Life Halloween Puns stamp set.
I've never used this stamp before because I was a little intimidated by it. I wasn't sure if it would stamp completely, if it would come out blotchy, etc.... but not to worry.. it stamped PERFECTLY! I love the quality of these stamps!

The paper I used is from Michael's Recollection's Midnight Magic stack. I inked around the edges with Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord Distress Inks to give it more of a Halloween look. I took a close up of the paper so you can see all of the fun Halloween words it has. :o)

The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam (Antique White). I also inked the crinkle ribbon with Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord Distress Inks
The twine is Orange Licorice from Trendy Twine.
The coffin is holding some yummy treats.
Side view. The coffin was cut at 7.5 inches.
Side view again. The spider web was cut at 2.75 inches.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a fun, crafty day!

Halloween Treat Box

Hi everyone! Can you believe it's already OCTOBER!?!  Halloween will be here in no time! With that said, this week we will be showing you Halloween Treat projects over at Joy's Life DT! Hopefully they inspire you to get a head start on your Halloween creations. :)
I used my trusty Cricut Artiste cartridge. The pumpkin is from the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge (under the icon feature).
For my project, I used the Halloween Puns stamp set.  I love this set because it's so versatile! You better get yours HERE soon so you have enough time to create your Halloween projects :o)
Here's a side view of my treat box. The pumpkin chandelier pattern paper is from Michael's Recollection's Midnight Magic stack.
The face on the pumpkin is from Peachy Keen's Monster Mash face assortment.  I'm not sure if you can see it, but the pumpkin is on some zots for added dimension.

Hi everyone! Over at Joy's Life DT, the theme is Pumpkin Picking Time Colors! We'll be making projects using the colors Orange, Green, and Brown! Both my sister and I love Fall for the weather, Halloween, and pumpkin seeds! This box has some pumpkin seeds for my sister so she can make some Pumpkin Seed Brittle!
This box is from the Artiste cartridge
The orange diamond paper is from the Recollection's Midnight Magic stack. The ghost sentiment stack is from DCWV's Ultimate Premium stack.
The sentiment and the cute little pumpkins are from Joy's new It's All Fall Puns stamp set!

mini swatch book

Hi everyone! Over at Joy's Life DT blog we are showing you many ways to create your own swatch books/albums! Today I have a mini swatch book to share with you. I focused my mini album on the Wild Life Puns stamp set.

These mini swatch books are so easy and fun to make! I simply cut four 4x4 pieces of white paper with my trimmer, used a corner rounder on 3 corners and just embellished!

The sentiment mat and the frame are from the Elegant Edges cartridge

Again, all of the stamps are from the Wild Life Puns set. This set can be so fun, especially with die cuts!
This banner is from the Artiste cartridge. I actually cut it a tad bit too big and just trimmed it from the sides (I'm sure it looks nothing like it originally did LOL). The fish is from the Create a Critter cartridge
I didn't photograph this, but there is a small photo mat on the back of each page.

Thank you for stopping by!
