enjoy the summer

Hello again my crafty friends! 

Today at Joy's Life DT blog we are showcasing the brand new Pun in the Sun stamp set! This set is PERFECT for summer, but you can totally use it for ALL types of projects =) 

Here are the details on the card: 

The sun is from the Doodlecharms cartridge. The doll and her accessories (hair, shoes, clothes) are from Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge.  

The cloud pattern paper is from Echo Park. The "sand" is Kraft cardstock, I just tore the top to give it a different textured look. 

  The sentiment is from Joy's Pun in the Sun stamp set. Check it out here!

Save the Earth Fantabulous Cricut Crawl

Wowza! It's Monday and the Seventh Fantabulous Cricut Crawl . . . Fantabulous Cricut's version of a Blog Hop! How exciting! 


The theme is "Save the Earth" and through this crawl you'll get a chance to see each design team member featuring a project using a recycled item and at least one Cricut cut.

I decided to do a supply holder for my desk!  

The item I reused was this container that held some flowers. 

 I even used all scraps for this project ;) 

 

I decided to go with this project because my supplies were so unorganized!!!

The scrap paper was just the perfect size! 

 I added this cuuute girl from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. Her face is from Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes assortment. 

 I just added a few punch outs from an old paper stack around the container. 

 Here is the end result :)

Not 100% organized, but much better!

My Creative Time DT Call !

Hello! Hope all of you are enjoying your Saturday night!! Man oh man! When I saw Emma at My Creative Time had a design team call I was BEYOND excited! I have been a using her stamps as soon as I found them! Needless to say, I ♥ her crafty projects! Great, great inspiration! I kept thinking day after day about ideas, but by Friday I had "so many" I couldnt create one :/ anywhoo... I was about to just let it go, buuuut Im so glad I have a wonderful, encouraging husband that insisted I do it! Enough of that, and here it is :) So today, I whipped this baby up and JUST finished!

 My 12x12 layout includes two 4x4 photo mats.  The 12x12 paper is one of my fave's from the DCWV Mango Frost stack (also the photo mat paper). The yellow scalloped is from We R Memory Keepers Textured cardstock stack. The rest, were "extras" :)

"You bring out the happy in me!" is from the "Turn That Frown Upside Down" set.
I head embossed the coffee mug onto my dress. The coffee mug is from "My Favorite Sayings"

Sorry this picture is sideways, I coudnt manage to flip it. :( but my "hubby" is holding a box of chocolate and a "love letter" hehe

The "kiss me" is from the "You Had Me at Chocolate" set.

"Together forever..." is also from "You Had Me at Chocolate"  [I just picked up the Fiskars Notebook punch and ♥♥♥ it!]

Let's Face it Friday - Old School

Hi guys! Today I was crafting pretty much until noon and gave in and took the Let's Face it Friday challenge. The challenge was to create a project showcasing the year you graduated from high school. 

I graduated in 2008 and that summer after graduation I met my husband ♥ .... at work (in a call center)! :) 

Sooooo for the challege, I created a 12x12 layout of us "meeting & working" lol

For my scrappin' bff

I was "organizing" my pictures and found this doll I made for my scrappin' bff!
She's a Navy wife so I made her (before I discovered Peachy Keen Stamps LOL)!
